Creating a game!

Team: Sharan, Ding, Cat

Intro

Sharan, Ding, and I set out to create a game that had a physical component and a fun UI. Our initial idea was an ambitious, fully functioning game that relied on fast reflexes and a sturdy controller box with up to 6 sensors that would be able to withstand gameplay.

We ended up with more of an MVP, with 4 sensors on our box and the minimum necessary mechanics within the game (although we achieved the UI aesthetic we were going for). Our team hopes to be able to build upon this in the future (perhaps for our final project) in order to fully create what we were envisioning.


Our Initial Idea

Inspired by Cooking Mama, Overcooked, Bop It!, we wanted to create a game like Cooking Mama but with physical components, or Bop It! but with a UI component, and that panicked state that is created with a game such as Overcooked.
